Mar 26, 2021 · Hello, I own a 2014 Odyssey Touring Elite. When I bought it it had quite the shudder around 2nd or 3rd gear. Even the rpm needle was bouncing. I brought it into my local Honda whereupon they performed the triple drain/fill procedure according to the TSB about the torque converter. This service made is noticeably better. 80 ft-lbs is the same torque for almost all Honda vehicles, but the Pilot, Ridgeline and Odyssey have 90-95 ft-lbs toque specs. On a side note, I helped out a co-worker with a 2016 Mustang GT350, his torque spec was 120 ft-lbs. Seemed high to me. Absolutely correct. I'm not sure if that info is in the owner's manual. I have the Haynes manual as well as the Honda shop manual and they both say 80 ft-lbs. I don't retighten them after I have torqued them initially, but it can't hurt. Like.
