For Fortnite, I don't know. I ran into this issue myself within the past year. I moved the game back to the Switch memory and haven't had an issue since. Haven't experienced this issue with other games but don't generally store an entire game on my SD card anymore given this concernSep 30, 2023 · The file system managing data on the SD card can itself become corrupted.
