You can do it that way but it doesnt seem very sustainable in the long run..not sure about farming rune arcs but by the end of my first play through i remember having like 40ish, and in a panic I resorted to using them as heals in a late game boss fight when i ran out of flasks lol..yes, you get a rune arc for killing boss with/for host - but good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ luck doing that without disconnecting - multiplayer is a disaster in this game 90% of my attempts fail outright or disconnect randomly during battle.
