Split damage seemed to be problematic with previous FROM games.There isn't much spells that deal poise damage aside from gravity spells. I think Flame of the Redmanes is a unique one just for fire spells so I don't think they will ever nerf it. Just like Glintblade Phalanx being a unique sorcery that deal poise damage. There could be more but I don't use enough sorcery to know.
