I have a fold 3 with over 14 months and absolutely no issues. Inner protector did start to peel off and I removed it but installed a whitestone film and no issues since. In another thread I read that having the inner screen with no protector may lead to this issue. Software and hardware damages are in a gray area of insurance and warranty. The screen protector falls under the last one. So when Samsung replaces it, it will void the warranty as it is not an original part not in its original state. My main problem with Fold 5 was aspect ratio, but thanks to GoodLock and its MultiStar app, I can now just easily do this. It basically force Netflix app to run in 16:9 and when you crop it, it will crop only a little bit not to a full screen.
