What I did to fix it for me, was complete the initial blue text dialogue with Johny outside the elevator after I exited Clouds for Automatic Love. I went into the elevator, took it down and the relic started malfunctioning making the screen glitch out. I did not do any of the QTE dialogue options and I believe I chose the first yellow dialogue ...RELIC.
