The trunk relay caused the trunk to open on its own it's. It has nothing to do with the remote. When they change out the relay for a 2 shot relay, the problem is fixed. The relay is bad, nothing is done with the remote. I kept being told that the car is operating as designed when the trunk was opening randomly.Hatch won't open on 2004 Malibu Maxx.
