Dec 21, 2017 · Hi same problem stuck on 40% this fix worked for me. Plugged charger in and turned on unit. Pressed both volume buttons and Bluetooth button. Unit switched off, would not switch on, bugger. Then turned off wall power and back on, power button came on without pushing it. Checked charge level and heard “100% charge". Winner: UE Megaboom 3. The UE Megaboom 3 is louder than the JBL Charge 4. It has a rating of 89.9 dB SPL while the Charge 4 has a rating of 84.8 dB SPL. Durability Winner: UE Megaboom 3.
