For 1-1/8 ounce loads the pressures get a little high, but it still works well for 1145 fps loads. It is a VERY fine grained powder and it will find any leakage path in your reloader, so be aware.Best powder for those light weight shot loads would be the fastest burning powder that you can get. One of the best powders for those loads would be Accurate's Nitro 100. Also Hodgdon's Titewad should work very well. Look for powders that are faster burning than 700X that will give you higher pressures with the lighter shot charges. As mentioned, Extra Lite is a good choice.
